Explosives Detection & Training

Our P.O.S.T. certified bomb sniffing dogs are highly skilled in explosives detection, using the positive reward system. We teach the passive response method in explosives detection, in which the dog sits and points to the source of the odor with his nose and repeats the pointing process on request of the handler.

Explosives searches, from pre-arranged sweeps to emergency response, are conducted in a professional manner and are strictly confidential. We search the smallest, single package to an executive office to larger venues, such as casinos, conventions and sporting events.

Our dogs are trained to detect explosive vapors, including but not limited to: TNT, PETN, RDX, Nitrates, Clorates, and Black and Smokeless powders, as well as residual odors and residue. Canines also detect gunpowder based items such as firearms, ammunition, pipe bombs and fireworks.

It is important to note: All States K-9 Detection is licensed by ATF to transport and use REAL explosives for training purposes; we are licensed with the San Bernardino County Fire Authority and Orange County to transport, use and store explosive materials.  There are few private companies who have this license or capability!
