Detection TRAINING
K9 Detection Training introduces you and your dog to specific detection training - we offer the odors of drugs/narcotics, exposives/bomb, cell phone, and tobacco. We are a licensed DEA and ATF training facility and we do not use synthetics in our training. We believe imprinting and certifying on both small and large quantities of the real thing is critical.
The training includes building your dog's hunt and search drive, expanding your dog's attention span, problem solving, documentation, proofing, building credibility and confidence, drug identification, safety, public & customer contact, professionalism, and more.
This course is for serious handlers and those looking to get into the K9 detection industry; training will be conducted initially at the All States K-9 indoor-outdoor training facility and expand to a variety of locations and environments that emulate real life situations.
For qualified working teams looking to add cell phone or tobacco odor to a drug or explosives sniffer dog, training can be conducted at the All States K-9 indoor-outdoor training facility or at the requesting correctional facility training site.
Prerequisite: Dogs must be at least 1 year old and have basic obedience. All dogs are evaluated prior to course acceptance.
