Puppy Pre-School, DOGGIE DAY CARE, Training

Dogs are social animals and day care provides them with the opportunity to be part of the pack, by interacting and playing with other dogs.

Our Day Care programs begin with social skills, exercise, play and confidence building, and progresses into basic obedience and behavioral training.

See the All States K-9 Programs Overview for a summary of programs to choose from.

Getting Started for Day Care

  • Each dog will be given a social test to determine their disposition before attending day care.
We evaluate your dog’s overall temperament towards people, other dogs, objects and space. It takes approximately 15-30 minutes to complete and is done by appointment only. Call our office at (714)738-1665 to schedule your dog’s social test for day care.

Note: On occasion a dog doesn’t pass the social test; in those instances the trainer will recommend a training program that will still allow the dog to be admitted into a day care situation. It is vitally important that we only pass dogs that are appropriate for the day care situation. We do not  integrate aggressive or extremely anxious dogs into our day care pack.

  • Complete basic paperwork upon admitting your dog into our day care program. After your initial visit, your dog may be dropped off without reservation, Monday thru Friday, during our regularly scheduled program hours.

(Boarding - Refer to Boarding Requirements & Policies for Hours and additional information.)

  • All day care dogs must be current on all vaccines (DHLPP, Bordatella, Rabies). A copy of a current shot record will be required on your first visit. Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old to begin classes and have their 3rd set of vaccine boosters.

  • Dogs must be free of fleas and ticks.

  • We have potty areas available while in attending day care, but require parents to be diligent in potty training their dogs prior to attending Doggie Day Care.
